Shark out there yesterday but ,no worries,he came back!!!!!!!

Wednesday27th.... Getting very predictable walk on the beach etc etc...... Great weather to go with it,sitting,actually lounging back in the sunshine reading a book!! Thursday28th....Bugger a bit of rain this morning,caught up on shows I taped!!

Friday....another damp morning......we were told,"on the quiet" about a Thai lady who lives in Scotts Head and does off course Thai food to either eat up on her balcony or takeaway so the neighbour ,Kathy and I took a walk up there,umbrellas in hand and picked up a menu ,ordered it so will give it a mark out of 10 tomorrow! We leave here on Saturday and are headed just over an hour north past Coffs Harbour,to Moonee Beach for a couple of nights as there is a fair on at Emerald beach,6 kms from Moonee on Sunday with food and music !!

Can anyone tell me what these are,little mounds of dirt,seem to be more present after rain???!!!

Some people get a little carried away with their fence designs!!!!

Moonee Beach...Sat30th ......arrived this morning,set up camp! 14 kms north of Coffs Harbour...

Water runs back a fair way depending on tide! I will explore tomorrow !!

Scotts Head....

A lovely 22 degrees ,another walk on the beach.Moose got a bit more adventurous with the waves and I got him back to camp and gave him a bath.They have a hydro bath set up for your fogs at the park ! Brilliant!

We went over to the Stuart's Point bowling club and had Chinese for lunch,very nice and reasonable !! No cooking for me today,that's a bonus!!

 

 

 

Forster Beach is well known, as some of Australia's best surfers train on this beach. They host numerous surfing tournaments !

I started the hole,Moose took over!

Another lovely stroll on the beach,what a great way to start the day and now ,no laughing,I've been roped in by the lady next door to go over to the club and play ,yes you guessed it,BINGO!!!!! Stay tuned .......

Well I've returned with a whole $5 prize,cost me $25 for the outing but it was fun!! Interesting array of ladies and a couple of guys! Our table won a lot of prizes for the day!!

Some of the husbands have a joke as we go over to the club which borders on the caravan park,we all rendezvous at the " Bingo Bus Stop",although it's a 2 min walk!! Ha ha!!

 

This little fella is used to blot out your nos as they are called out. I only had one but some people have a dozen or more,not sure why???? Small things amuse small minds!!!!!!!!

I had a nice lunch and a glass of champagne so all was not lost!!! Been there done that!!!

A walk on the beach.....

Forster Beach......

First thing this morning after a storm last night.....weather has gone out to sea.

Well this is a dogs life!!!

Plenty of surfers out catching the waves!!!

 

 

 

Not sure about the waves,he looks at me as if to say,why are they chasing me?!

Surfers,paddle boarders.....surf skis....

And the Dolphins in catching mullet near the boat ramp and amongst the water sports!

The sun is peaking its way through the clouds and life is good!!

A late lunch stop.....

On the Hawkesbury River at Mooney Mooney.

3.30 in the afternoon !

Friday 22nd,left at 5.30 am! We stopped at a Caltex 24 hr road stop! By 8 pm we were surrounded by big trucks!! Thought,oh shit,this will be noisy!! Not so,had the best nights sleep until they started up to depart!! Little bit intimidating when I walked out of the van this morning,a city of big rigs!!!

Scott's Head here we come,650 odd kms yesterday,about 350 to do today!!!

Arrived at Scotts Head....set up,ah we have a cement slab,great as we might get a bit of rain this evening! Took Moose for a walk on the beach,ran down towards the waves but as they came to shore,he rain away from them!!!
