What a day left Chelsea's at 5.30 am,arrived at airport at 6.15....took forever to check in,finally boarded plane to Sydney....bit of a run to get to connecting flight through to LA,plane packed,literally to the gunnels!!! Another arduous checkin at LA for New York,plane running an hour and half late to depart and I am literally buggered but rally ,on board again and I am humming...NYC arrival 5.45 pm ....took ages to get bags...in a taxi driven by an Indian maniac... I vomited in the back.....had a plastic bag.....phew!!! 8 pm at the apartment and a cold glass of rosé helped matters!!!
Tuesday 22nd .......
On the metro...then weather not permitted decided to get the sight seeing bus !!!!!

Eddison had a fascination with NYC policeman....they were so nice to the kids!!! Gave them their torch to play with!!!
Nearing day's end...back on the bus....apartment lookin good!!
A nice meal at a Spanish restaurant just around the corner from our digs.....nachos in front of Christmas tree and a movie on the iPad......meanwhile beers and sangrias for us girls and a nice meal.... Happy ending to our day!!!!!
