What a find,the Pine Rivers Showgrounds in Lawton, Brisbane. Left Willowvale this morning at 8.39 and got to Showgrounds at 10.15....

Very green and grassy,perfect....$20 a night,power and water!!! the battle faught in Vietman at Long Tahn have a reunion here this long weekend so we'll be surrounded!!!!! He he!
Chelsea,Joel and our 2 sweethearts are flying in tonight from Melbourne. They are visiting Joels groomsman,Phil and his family so we'll catch up as they'll be in Bray Park the next suburb over!! Yaah!!
Well the family are here ,had lunch with them and went to their local tavern and we won a meat tray.......meat for the next week or so ,off to Australia park with them tomorrow and I volunteered to baby sit 5 children tomorrow night while they go out for dinner.......Ah well the things grandmothers do!!

Sunday7th June....
Caught up on washing and Buck did his chicken wings,Chelsea made some fried rice while her father looked over her shoulder,his domain usually and we enjoyed a casual dinner! Monday morn and we are hooked up ready to go.......the family come to say goodbye,they fly out at 1.00 pm and we're off !
Gin Gin ...... Roadside stop,caravans galore,looks like a caravan park but it's free! You'd be surprised how many people stay for days! I could think of nothing worse but we have water,solar energy and gas.....
Trucks tend to come in as well,noisy buggers! We are not allowed in their overnight bays but they come in on the vans! Payback!!!???
Tuesday 9thJune.......off towards Emerald,another free camp tonight and then we'll be in Emerald tomorrow! All up its 800 odd kms from Brisbane to Emerald.......warmer weather as well!!!
